Outside Scholarships

External Scholarships

Holy Trinity partners with the following scholarship organizations, and we encourage students to explore these opportunities to help make a Catholic education affordable.

Tax Credit Scholarship

The State of Illinois has created a new tax credit scholarship program called the "Invest in Kids Act." For the first time in Illinois, this state program will provide scholarships for low-income students enrolled in private schools. Scholarships will cover up to 100 percent of tuition and eligible fees! Scholarships are awarded in the spring for the following school year.

Application Process

The application process will be managed by new Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGO). Currently, there are eight SGOs approved by the State of Illinois to grant tax credit scholarships to students residing in Cook County (listed below). We strongly encourage families to apply to all SGOs to increase your odds.

Eligibility

Scholarships are awarded on a first come, first served basis with priority being given to those families with the greatest need. All families who meet the Adjusted Gross Income requirements (below) are invited to apply, including families who already receive a scholarship or financial aid.
