Student: Maria Asiimwe.  Maria was the keynote student speaker at the 20th Annual Guardians of Hope Dinner.

Where were you born?

I was born in Africa, in Uganda in Kampala.

What are your hobbies?

I like to play sports, movies, write, and read.

What was the last book you read?

The last book I read was Indigo Spell.

What was the last movie you saw?

The last movie I saw was "Breaking Dawn Part 2."

What was the most challenging part of speaking at the Guardians of Hope Dinner?

The most challenging part was getting over the nerves.

What was the funnest part of speaking at the Guardians of Hope Dinner?

The funnest part was that I got to meet amazing people, selling tickets, and being special.

What is your favorite TV show?

My favorite TV shows are "Touch" and "Vampire Diaries."

What was your last accomplishment?

I finished a book in one day! (475 pages)

What’s a fun fact about you?

I am pretty good at archery and won lots of trophies.

What is your favorite class?

My favorite class is literature.

My mother.

How has HT helped you reach your goals?

It has helped me to narrow down what my options are.

How everyone knows each other.
