Young Alumni Committee

After graduation, we all took different paths. Many of us went on to college; others chose the workforce; some of us decided to serve our country through the military. The YAC's mission is to reunite young HT Alumni and encourage them to return to Holy Trinity in order to foster their own growth and that of future alumni. In doing so, we want to show current students how a Holy Cross education changed our lives.

There are many ways to stay involved with HT:
*Join the YAC and attend meetings and help plan events and activities for alumni
*Share your career or college experiences at the Career and College Fairs
*Speak to students in classes or clubs
*Become a mentor to a Friends for a Future summer intern
* Attend YAC events
*Support HT's financial assistance program and help out a student as you were helped by the generosity of fellow alumni and other donors

Members of the HT Young Alumni Committee (YAC) are also active in planning social events, get-togethers, fundraisers, and more in support of Holy Trinity. To learn more, please email Augy Rizo at augyrizo@yahoo.com, or the HT Development Office at alumni@holytrinity-hs.org. One of the best ways to keep up to date on YAC activities is to join us on Facebook.

January 23, 2010 On Saturday, January 23, 2010 the Blue Line Club Car Lounge welcomed Gabriel Gomez '03, Adelina Rocha '99, Jorge Arreguin '85, Sergio Palma '01, Qiana Young ‘98', Kimberly A. Hart '01, Fern G. Lopez '96 and other HT friends for an evening of drinks and laughter. Afterward, the glided on over to Mother’s, where they were joined by Isamaris Diaz '01, for some dancing and nonstop good times. Do not fret you can make it up next time at the alumni volleyball open gym or the YAC movie night coming in the next few weeks. Keep an ear to the ground for more information. Until then try not to feel too bad about missing this night of HT bliss.

Wednesday, December 30th On Wednesday, December 30th, Holy Trinity Alumni gathered for dinner and laughter as they said goodbye to 2009. Maureen Arevalo '97, Maria Diaz '95, Joseph Reeves'91, Marisol Rodriguez '02, Marquis Harris '02, Eric Jursa '02, Lorena Loza '03, Samara Galvin '03, Qiana Young '98, Jorge Arreguin '85, Justin Stewart '05, Robert Robinson '05, Sergio Palma '01, and others spent the evening at Dave and Busters reconnecting and getting ready for the new year.. We missed you greatly along with the rest of our HT family who were not able to make it out for the celebration.

Saturday, December 5th The Alumni Christmas Dinner was a tremendous success. The event drew 169 participants, an impressive 69% increase from last year. Alumni from many classes attended the event but the Classes of 1959 and 1979 had the most representatives of any class. A great night was had by all as we celebrated milestone class reunions, the Christmas season, and Holy Trinity's 100th anniversary. Special thanks go to Chet Lis '58, the Alumni Association, and the Young Alumni Committee for all of their work to make the event a success and get such a great alumni turnout. Click here to see pictures from the event.

The Holy Trinity family looks forward to hearing about what you are doing and helping you continue on your journey towards your self-defined success.
