Strategies for Success

The Strategies for Success course, which was added to the curriculum in 2009-2010, is designed to help students assimilate into the mainstream of the rigorous college preparatory workload at Holy Trinity. Employing mainly an independent curriculum, the Strategies for Success course also integrates course work from other subjects to assist students in connecting the newly acquired skills for use throughout their day.

Through classroom activities, assignments, and projects, students learn to adapt their skill set to the one necessary to succeed at Holy Trinity. A focus on organization, time management, and study habits further illuminate the pitfalls that often accompany the adjustment to life in high school. Freshmen participate in the course during Stage 1 or 2 and then again in either Stage 3 or 4.
