Principal

Char Szumilas has served as Principal of Holy Trinity High School since 1997. She is responsible for overseeing several aspects of maintaining standards of academic excellence at Holy Trinity, including the hiring of faculty and staff, supervising the selection of textbooks and other materials, and coordinating work for accreditation by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and the Illinois State Board of Education.

Each day, Ms. Szumilas is a part of each student's life at Holy Trinity when she reads the morning announcements on our public address system. In addition to informing students, faculty, and staff about special events taking place at Holy Trinity, Ms. Szumilas also leads the school in prayer, reminding the Holy Trinity family to pause for a moment and put ourselves in God's presence.
