Friends for a Future

Friends for a Future: Holy Trinity's Corporate Internship Program
Friends for a Future provides Holy Trinity juniors and seniors with insight into and understanding of business and career opportunities through firsthand exposure to a professional work environment. Since the creation of the program in 1995, Friends for a Future has played a significant role in the growth and development of more than 250 students, all of whom have gone on to college.
Participating interns are selected competitively based on academic achievement, expressed commitment to career development, faculty recommendations, and demonstrated leadership skills. Each candidate goes through Holy Trinity's nine-week Corporate Experience class, which provides extensive training in preparation for the internship. Key topics covered include interviewing, professionalism, dress code, timeliness, and office ettiquette.
Friends for a Future welcomes a wide variety of companies to the program, including both large and small businesses. Examples of past participants include finance and accounting firms, law firms, nonprofit organizations, and printing companies. An employer orientation session is provided prior to the start of the internship.
We encourage all of our current Friends for a Future employers to refer other potential employers for the program. Please click here to learn more about hiring a Friends for a Future intern for your organization.
