The B in B-STEM will engage students in the fundamentals of business. Students will apply their communication, collaboration, financial literacy and decision making skills while learning to become strong leaders and project managers.
The program incorporates problem based learning and real world problem solving opportunities related to business and entrepreneurship as well as math and science.
B-STEM students will have the opportunity to become members of prestigious academic and professional societies like the National Business Honor Society (Holy Trinity anticipated to join by 2016) and Business Professionals of America (BPA). BPA is the leading CTSO (Career and Technical Student Organization) for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology and other related career fields.
Students are expected to maintain at least a 3.0 GPA. A student who falls below this level will be placed on probation and his/her ability to remain in the program will be evaluated. Students who are not a part of the B-STEM Program may also take advantage of B-STEM classes.
Please contact Assistant Principal Pat Kelly with questions or for more information about the B-STEM program.
