Each year, Holy Trinity High School holds a career fair for the junior and senior classes. We are seeking volunteers to present information and answer questions about their careers for our students.
Since 2006, 100 percent of HT graduates have been accepted to college.
Each fall, Holy Trinity hosts a college fair with admissions counselors and other representatives from colleges and universities throughout the midwest visiting our school to provide information and guidance to our students regarding admissions criteria, financial assistance, and what to expect from the college experience.
Throughout the year, College Admissions Counselors are welcome to visit Holy Trinity by appointment. Visits will be scheduled during the students’ lunch period (between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.) Special arrangements are occasionally made at other times. Contact Dr. Colette Blakely, Counseling Department Chair, or call the Counseling Office at (773) 278-4212.
To help prepare our students for their next educational step, each junior takes a course called College 101, a college bootcamp class that prepares students for life on a college campus. Holy Trinity counselors also utilize the program Naviance to help students determine the right college and career for them. Our counselors host FAFSA workshops for students and parents, and students can schedule individual sessions with counselors to help complete the Common App.
