Holy Trinity Scholarships
The Hosinski Scholars
Society
Established in 1994 the
Hosinski Scholars Program offers $2,750 for the year to newly enrolled
students who score in the 85th percentile or higher on Holy Trinity’s
entrance exam and to upperclassmen that are academically excellent.
The scholarship program rewards students who have excelled in the
classroom by maintaining a 3.5 cumulative grade point average on a
scale of 4.0 and have participated in service to both the school and
their home communities. Approximately 50 students met the program’s
eligibility requirements for the 2008-2009 school year.

The Brother Philip R.
Smith Feeder School Scholarship
Created in 2000, this
scholarship program recognizes the former president and
principal of Holy Trinity, Brother Philip R. Smith, C.S.C.
Currently there are over 50 Brother Phil Scholars at Holy Trinity.
Eligibility: We designate
certain elementary schools as feeder
schools based on a continued relationship of successful recruitment of
their students to Holy Trinity High School. Every year we ask
each feeder school principal to select five students to
attend Holy Trinity as Brother Phil Scholarship recipients.
Students must possess
strong academic aptitude, demonstrate high moral character and respect
for others,
and try to make a positive impact in the world. They must also
maintain a minimum
2.0 cumulative grade point average throughout their studies at Holy
Trinity. Brother Phil Scholars receive $2,000 - 2,500 per year in
tuition assistance.

Many Holy Trinity students receive support from
external scholarship organizations.
