FRIENDS FOR A
FUTURE
CORPORATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The Friends for a Future
summer corporate internship program provides junior year students with
insight and understanding of business and career opportunities through
firsthand exposure to a quality professional work environment. Each
student is also provided with a mentor/business professional for the
period of the internship. This internship provides a unique and
valuable experience to those students who seek careers in many
business areas. (See our
FAQs page for
more details.)
The Friends internship
welcomes a wide variety of companies to the program,
including both large and small businesses. Examples of past
participants include finance and accounting firms, law firms,
distribution companies, travel agencies, consulting firms, and
printing companies. An employer orientation session will be
provided prior to the start of the internship.
Intern candidates will be
provided extensive training in preparation for the internship.
Key topics covered include interviewing, professionalism, dress code,
timeliness,
office environment etiquette and much more.
References from prior
employer participants are available upon request. We also
encourage all of our current employers to refer other potential
employers for the program.
