Youth in Government

On Saturday March 31st, a group of HT students and teachers attended the Youth In Government Day sponsored by the Paul Simon Institute of Southern Illinois University.  The students were treated to a day of young speakers currently serving in the public sector as elected officials or as aides and press secretaries.  The talks were held in the chambers of the Illinois legislature, so students were able to actually sit in the seats of the state legislators.

March Students of the Month

Congratulations to our Students of the Month for April! Each month, the National Honors Society members ask HT faculty to nominate students who have performed well academically and shown strength in character.
